Newsletter #176 - Non-Glory Holes

Yo Shitcoiners,

There seems to be a lot of money being stolen lately doesn’t there? This week’s round-up has exploits and memes. It’s a hoot. Oh and remember you can always catch it on YouTube. We begin by the biggest news of the week, Wormhole was exploited for $323m. The hacker fraudulently created wETH tokens on Ethereum, leaving ETH on Solana unbacked. Ouch.

They were quick to “restore” the funds. However, that doesn’t mean they got the wETH back from the exploiter.

To lighten the mood, here’s what a Solana hacker house looks like. Please note, this is not a house.

Back to the shenanigans. Sifu, the now doxxed former CFO of Wonderland has been doing a little mixing.

We will just leave this here.

Some of you will remember the infamous Bitfinex hack of 2016. Well, some of that dormant BTC has sprung to life.

Six days being held hostage and this trader still didn’t give up the crypto. GMI.

While we are focusing on Asia, Thailand have decided to abolish plans for a crypto tax.

India meanwhile…

To the Jacks! There seems to be a theme here. Is it just a coincidence that Gandalf posted the comparison and Dorsey has a strong wizard beard going on?

Jack has been doing some home mining himself lately. It’s not like he needs the money but solving a block with a solo set up is kind of neat. This next individual scored big.

Bitcoin mining has been forever getting heat for being bad for the environment. Fantom are going the opposite route. Andre wants to run the “Ethereum killer” on a Prius.

NFTs are not going away and neither are the attacks on NFT holders. This next guy got pretty rekt.

We hope the wholesome family depicted below have secured their generational wealth correctly.

The normies think that they are going to make it by trading JPEGs. This is not going to end well.

It’s probably advisable to avoid the NFT flipping and learn Solidity instead. Almost $1m a year? Jesus.

Speaking of DAOs, Daniele is now your overlord.

We finish up with a piece of art. If you stare the charts long enough to start to see some weird shit.

And as usual a little bit of shilling.
