We have had weeks of widespread FUD, fears of industry meltdowns and bear posting but the last seven days offered some respite. But as you all know, the shenanigans don’t stop. We have another newsletter packed with punchy stories.

First up, we have heard rumbles of the “decoupling” but holy shit were gonna be so rich this is it.

One of the biggest stories this week was OM. The “security first L1 blockchain for real world assets” did not do a great job of securing the bags of holders. Allegedly due to “reckless liquidations” the price tanked 90%+. RIP.

This aged well.

‍

The losses were substantial.

‍

In an odd move for a collapse outside of the team’s control, they decided to close their telegram. When someone calls your project the Terra Luna of 2025 it’s time to end it.

‍

At least some people are okay!

‍

We have entered a new paradigm. Which low float, high FDV project is up next?

Turbo rug or slow rug. The choice is yours.

ETH has been bleeding out for a full cycle. It may be time to capitulate and accept your fate.

While Ethereum holders swap over with whatever they have left, we are praying that big buys coming from somewhere are in our future. Fortunately, we have one man who can hold the fort for now.

If the OM rug got you feeling on edge, take a look at this next chart. With crime now legal, Coinbase launched an official token on Base. The chart acted like a true shitter and rugged immediately. The timeline was in tears.

But if there’s one thing we know about memecoins, it’s that low liquidity means those with capital can easily pump it. At risk of losing face, the powers that be stepped in and brought it back. Our thoughts go out to the bottom sellers.

Hyperliquid has been getting heat but the price is gradually rebounding. It turns out that being Hyperliquid is the best strategy when trying to become the next Hyperliquid.

You couldn’t get in on the Hyperliquid deal as there wasn’t one, but you can be early with echo we hear. If you already signed up you have do it all over again. The intern (Cobie) deleted the submissions.

To a spicy twist next. The Wall Street Journal published a hit piece claiming that CZ had gone against his country-of-birth compadre Justin Sun. CZ squashed the FUD.

With the market range-bound the timeline turned to the important questions. Degens are not splashing out on haircuts. The bottom might be in. Is this alpha?
